Dealing With Last Minute Cancellations

I’m that person who makes plans and puts them in her schedule to avoid clashes. So how do I handle someone cancelling on the day? Go ahead with the plans anyway and have a great day in London with my sister! We compiled a list of things to do (oh so organised), and our goal was to get as much done as we could.

And here they are:

1. Refuel at Wagamamas.
Food is important, yo.  WP_20150812_0012. Surprise Laurence at the Umbrella Shop.
Yeah this failed because this has been his week off. So we met him at the National Gallery instead, then went to a Blues bar in Soho, and he was our tour guide for the rest of the day.

3. Visit the British Museum.
I got to see the mummies and Kenny visited the Napoleon exhibit. Wins all around tbh.

4. Check out what’s on at the National Theatre.
We were hoping to get tickets to see Chiwetel Ejiofor in Everyman, but all they had left for that evening were standing tickets, and we didn’t really fancy standing for 2 hours.

5. Houses of Parliament & Big Ben.
No London Tourist Day is complete without these, ofcourse.

6. Visit 10 Downing Street.
This was the closest we could get to it

7. Platform 9 and 3/4.
I’ve actually never been, so it definitely had to be done.

The only things we didn’t get to do from my list was go to the British Library and take a picture at 221b Baker Street, so we’ll definitely have to do those next time 😀
